How CoupleFrame collects, uses, and deletes account data, face uploads, generations, and payment metadata — and how to request access or deletion.

Who we are
CoupleFrame (“we”, “us”) is an AI couple-photo product. Contact: hello@coupleframe.app. Website: https://coupleframe.app.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the product, we may collect:
- Account data — identifiers from our auth provider (for example email, user id), and basic profile fields you choose to share.
- Uploaded face photos — the selfies or face images you upload so we can generate couple scenes.
- Generated images and job metadata — outputs, scene choices, timestamps, and generation status.
- Credits and payment metadata — credit balance, pack purchases, and Stripe-related payment/session identifiers (we do not store full card numbers).
- Technical logs — approximate IP, device/browser basics, and error logs needed to run and secure the service.
We do not sell your personal data.
How we use data
We use this information to:
- Create and secure your account
- Run image generation and show results in your gallery
- Track credits and fulfill one-time purchases
- Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests
- Meet legal or safety obligations when required
Face uploads and outputs are used to provide the service you requested — not to train a public marketing model of your face without a separate, clear ask.
Third parties we may use
CoupleFrame is built on common cloud vendors. Depending on configuration, we may use:

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices. We only share what is needed to operate the feature.
Retention and deletion
- Uploads and generated images: We aim for a clear time-to-live (TTL) auto-delete policy for face uploads and outputs. Exact TTL will be published here when production storage is wired; until then, treat storage as retained while your account is active unless you request deletion.
- Account & credits: Kept while your account exists so we can show balance and history.
- Payment records: Retained as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and Stripe reconciliation.
Delete my data: From Account you can request deletion. In the current MVP the button is a stub: it explains the intended purge and does not yet wipe Neon rows or Blob objects automatically. When fully wired, a request should remove or anonymize:
- Uploaded face photos in object storage
- Generated image files you own
- Generation job records tied to your account
- Optional: account closure via our auth provider
Timing: We intend deletion requests to complete within 30 days (often sooner). Backup copies may linger for a short residual period. Payment ledgers required by law may be kept in minimized form.
Children’s privacy
CoupleFrame is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age required in your region). Do not upload photos of minors for generation. If you believe we hold a child’s data, email hello@coupleframe.app and we will delete it promptly.
International transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries where our vendors operate. If you access CoupleFrame from elsewhere, your information may cross borders. We rely on vendor safeguards appropriate to an early web product; formal transfer frameworks will be documented when a company entity is in place.
Your choices
- Access or update account details via the signed-in Account area and auth provider settings
- Request deletion as described above
- Stop uploading new photos or close your account

Policy updates
We may update this policy as the product and operators change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you have read the revised policy.
