Terms of Service

CoupleFrame terms covering credit packs, acceptable use, AI outputs, refunds, accounts, and service changes.

Agreement

By creating an account or using CoupleFrame (the “Service”) at https://coupleframe.app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Contact: hello@coupleframe.app.

The Service

CoupleFrame lets you upload two face photos, pick a curated scene, and generate AI couple images using credit packs. Features may change as we iterate the MVP. The Service is provided “as available.”

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security or abuse risk.

Credits (not a subscription)

  • Credits are one-time pack purchases, not a recurring subscription.
  • Credits never expire while your account remains in good standing.
  • One credit typically equals one generation (see pricing on the site).
  • Free signup credits, if offered, follow the same non-expiry rule unless we state otherwise on the pricing page.
  • Credits have no cash value except as described in the refund section below and are non-transferable.

Payments

Paid packs are processed by Stripe when configured. If Stripe is not configured (local / stub mode), the app may add credits without a real charge for development only — that stub is not a paid purchase and creates no refund obligation.

Refunds

Our direction for production (Stripe-backed) purchases:

  • Unused credits from a recent, genuine purchase may be refundable on request — contact hello@coupleframe.app with your account email and approximate purchase time.
  • Credits already consumed by successful generations are generally not refundable.
  • Chargebacks for used credits may lead to account suspension.
  • Stub / demo credits (no Stripe payment) are not refundable because no payment occurred.

We may refine this policy; the Account page and this document will stay aligned as Stripe goes live.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or generate content involving anyone’s likeness without their consent
  • Upload illegal content, sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or bypass credit / rate limits
  • Use the Service to harass, defraud, or impersonate others
  • Resell API-style bulk access without our written permission

We may remove content or disable accounts that break these rules.

AI outputs — important disclaimer

Outputs are AI-generated images, not authentic photographs of real events. They may contain artifacts, likeness inaccuracies, or unexpected details. Do not treat them as official records, evidence, or professional photography substitutes. You are responsible for how you share outputs and for obtaining consent from people depicted in your uploads.

Intellectual property

  • Our branding, site UI, scene prompts/packs, and software remain ours.
  • Your uploads: you retain rights you already have; you grant us a limited license to store and process them to provide the Service.
  • Outputs: subject to the model/provider terms we use (for example Replicate). For personal, non-commercial sharing we intend you may use your generations; commercial / celebrity / trademark misuse is your risk and may be prohibited.

Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Deletion requests are explained there under Retention and deletion.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or that outputs will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COUPLEFRAME AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR CREDITS IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).

Some regions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.

Account termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, non-payment, legal risk, or product shutdown. On termination, unused credits may be forfeited unless a refund is owed under the refund section or required by law. Surviving sections include disclaimers, liability limits, and IP.

Governing law

Governing law and dispute venue: TBD (to be set when CoupleFrame has a registered operator entity). Until then, these Terms are a product agreement template only.

Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Material changes get a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
